GOA Brand Proctection Conference Proceedings
Dr. Arsenault recently presented a talk at the Brand Protection Conference in Miami, as part of the larger Graphics of the Americas Conference and Tradeshow. The presentation highlighted Opalux's photonic crystal technologies, and especially their relevance to overt authentication, anti-counterfeit, and brand protection. The fundamentals of the technology were covered, followed by an in-depth look at specific product variants, including devices activated by compression, peeling, temperature, and electrical currents. The potential of Opalux technology in fields ranging from high security documents, to product packaging, to frozen foods, was vividly illustrated.
